Cancer Treatment Information

This section speaks directly to those who HAVE BEEN diagnosed with cancer. Comprehensive and effective TREATMENT information is imperative at this point! Make no mistake; the A.P. John Institute for Cancer Research has never been opposed to surgery for cancer when necessary. We support the administration of chemotherapy and radiation to patients in cases where they are appropriate. However, we intend to provide increased hope for recovery by offering Controlled Amino Acid Therapy (or CAAT), a biological cancer protocol used in the treatment of cancer. CAAT falls within the four main classifications of cancer treatment: conventional treatments, integrative treatment of cancer, complementary therapies and alternative medicine. This website offers the most up-to-date research and treatment information for cancers such as, but not limited to, Lung cancer, Breast cancer, Prostate cancer, Liver cancer, Colon cancer, Ovarian cancer, etc. You can learn more by either clicking on Treatment at the top of the page, or by clicking on The Yellow Path to Promise below. You can also get more information in this blog.

Cancer Prevention

Prevention information is for someone who HAS NOT been diagnosed with cancer! Back in 1961 John wrote in his book, DIATIS: Anti-Cancer Nutrients in Cancer Prevention and Cure, about Anti-Cancer Nutrients and supporting the body's effort to defend itself against cancer. Today, John's theory, which he subsequently termed the Cancer Detox System, centers on the body's first line of defense against cancer. Currently, what the Cancer Detox System is and how it functions is taught at medical universities including Cornell and Emory. You can read more about our methods of cancer treatment by Clicking on PREVENTION INFORMATION, then Cancer Detox System.
You can also get more information about medicines in this blog.

Medical Technology

Medical technology to improve the management of or other methods to increase life span and/or improve the refers to the diagnostic or therapeutic application of science and technology health conditions. Technologies may encompass any means of identifying the nature of conditions to allow intervention with devices, pharmacological, biological quality of life.

BioMedial Engineering

Biomedical engineering (BME) is the application of engineering principles and techniques to the medical field. It combines the design and problem solving skills of engineering with the medical and biological science to help improve patient health care and the quality of life of healthy individuals.

As a relatively new discipline, much of the work in biomedical engineering consists of research and development, covering an array of fields: bioinformatics, medical imaging, image processing, physiological signal processing, biomechanics, biomaterials and bioengineering, systems analysis, 3-D modeling, etc. Examples of concrete applications of biomedical engineering are the development and manufacture of biocompatible prostheses, medical devices, diagnostic devices and imaging equipment such as MRIs and EEGs, and pharmaceutical medicines.

Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by previous exposure to asbestos. In this disease, malignant cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body's internal organs. Its most common site is the pleura (outer lining of the lungs and chest cavity), but it may also occur in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity) or the pericardium (a sac that surrounds the heart). This is similar to cancer.
Most people who develop mesothelioma have worked on jobs where they inhaled asbestos particles, or have been exposed to asbestos dust and fibre in other ways, such as by washing the clothes of a family member who worked with asbestos, or by home renovation using asbestos cement products. Unlike lung cancer, there is no association between mesothelioma and smoking.
Mesothelioma attorneys are also used in serious condition of patient.Mesothelioma lawyers are consulted for the mesothelioma attorneys.

X-Ray

An X-ray is a form of electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength in the range of 10 to 0.01 nanometers, corresponding to frequencies in the range 30 PHz to 30 EHz. X-rays are primarily used for diagnostic radiography and crystallography. X-rays are a form of ionizing radiation and as such can be dangerous. In many languages it is called Röntgen radiation after one of the first investigators of the X-rays, Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen.

Plastic Surgery La Jolla

Plastic surgery La Jolla California - located in San Diego County - offered by Dr. Rechnic board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He maintains active membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the clinical faculty at UCSD. Breast augmentation, breast lifts, tummy tucks, eyelid surgery, facelifts and more. Learn about these cosmetic surgery procedures and schedule a consultation with this surgeon. View breast augmentation photos, breast lift photos, chin implant photos, eyelid surgery photos, rhinoplasty photos and more.
Cosmetic surgery is a broad discipline that includes a wide range of services. Cosmetic surgery is the reshaping of otherwise normal features to improve an individual's appearance.Other aspects of surgery seek to improve physical function or to minimize scarring. As people live longer, healthier lives, there's often a discrepancy between how old they feel and how old they look. Cosmetic surgery can be a valuable tool to help improve self-image and enhance personal and professional life. If you are in the San Diego County contact Dr Rechnnc for a consultation.

Selecting plastic surgery in San Diego County can pose questions. In regards to breast augmentation: Over or Under the Muscle? Breast implants can be placed under the breast and in front of the pectoral muscle, or under the muscle. A good (or unfavorable) outcome can result with either method, but some body types and breast shapes will generally do better with "over" than " under". Plastic Surgery in San Diego can be a difficult decision to make especially when it comes to breast augmentation and the type of breast implant used and technique. Let this cosmetic surgeon help.

Medical Devices

A medical device is intended for use in:

>the diagnosis of disease or other conditions, or

>in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease,

>intended to affect the structure or any function of the body of man or other animals, and which does not achieve any of its primary intended purposes through chemical action and which is not dependent upon being metabolized for the achievement of any of its primary intended purposes.

A pump for continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion, an example of a biomedical engineering application of electrical engineering to medical equipment.

Some examples include pacemakers, infusion pumps, the heart-lung machine, dialysis machines, artificial organs, implants, artificial limbs, corrective lenses, cochlear implants, ocular prosthetics, facial prosthetics, somato prosthetics, and dental implants.

Stereolithography is a practical example on how medical modeling can be used to create physical objects. Beyond modeling organs and the human body, emerging engineering techniques are also currently used in the research and development of new devices for innovative therapies, treatments, patient monitoring, and early diagnosis of complex diseases.
